Minnesota State invites campuses within the system to submit an interest application as the first step to participate in the Minnesota State Z-degree project. Campuses can apply for exploration funding, expansion/sustaining funding, or multi-campus collaborative funding. The deadline is February 13, 2026.

Online and Remote Tutoring: Request for Information
Currently, Tutor.com provides systemwide online tutoring services, ensuring equitable access to academic support for students who cannot reach campus or require assistance after hours. In preparation for an upcoming RFI process, we are developing a list of features and functionalities which the tutoring community and others would like to see offered to support students and assist staff.

Collaborate with Minnesota State faculty who are committed to saving students on the cost of textbooks and course resources by using open educational resources (OER). There are several project types to choose from like redesigning a course, creating ancillary materials, or authoring course resources. Learn more and apply by January 9, 2026.
Creative Commons Certificate Course for Librarians and Educators
Minnesota State will support up to ten seats for the Creative Commons Certificate for librarians or educators for each of the upcoming ten-week sessions. The certificate is an in-depth course about Creative Commons licenses, open practices, and the ethos of the Commons.
